Thousands Sang with Rammstein! An Incredible Pyro-Show Illuminated Bulgaria’s National Stadium

28 July 2013

The fourth edition of Sofia Rocks turned into a real rock explosion! The bands of the festival line-up attracted thousands of fans at the Vassil Levski National Stadium, who sang along for more than eight hours to the music of La Frontera, Hämatom, Enslaved, Bullet for My Valentine, and Rammstein.

Festival atmosphere reigned all day in the backstage area, too. The bands warmed up for their performances together, and this had a positive effect on all musicians. In addition, the event's schedule was kept to the minute.

Rammstein arrived at 5 p.m. at Sofia Airport. A couple of hours later they were at the stadium, ready for the thousands of screaming fans awaiting their appearance on stage. Before that, the six-piece greeted ten of their most devoted Bulgarian fans backstage (the youngest one being only 10 years old), signing autographs and taking pictures with them.

Rammstein also received an award for reaching “Golden Status” sales in Bulgaria with their latest album “Liebe ist für alle da”.

Just a few minutes after 10 p.m. the German metal titans invaded the stage. They played for about two hours, backed by an impressive pyro-show.
