Are you ready for the hottest news? One of the most popular British metal bands is now part of the rock fest of the year! Sofia Rocks 2013 proudly presents the metal giants, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE! The band will play live for the very first time in Bulgaria on 26 July 2013. Their brand new album is expected for February 2013. Temper Temper will be released on 12 Feb, 2013, and the premiere of the first official single “Riot” will be on 14 January!
German rock band Dorrn will also take part at Sofia Rocks 2013. The Hamburg based quartet will also play for their very first time in Bulgaria and they simply can’t wait to meet our greatest crowd!
So be prepared for something truly unseen! Plus to the fiery Rammstein show, another German rock band is coming and we are about to be shot with some very very good and heavy metal from the brits.

About BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE:
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE are a Welsh heavy metal band, formed in 1998. Part of the Cardiff music scene, their music style has been described by critics as heavy metal, trash, metal core and melodic core. The band itself points as their main influences acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Machine Head, Pantera and Slayer, basically because of their „catchy vocals, aggressive riffs and melodies“, says drummer Michael Thomas. According to another famous band’s quote, they are much more interested in how their music sounds rather than their looks.
Their debut album was released in October 2005. Poison hit the States in 2006, right on time for St Valentine’s Day. The album entered US Billboard 200 at number 128. Kerrang! Magazine gave them the Newcomer’s award and the band made appearances at the Downoald fest, headlined Kerrang! XXV and undertook a US tour with Rob Zombie.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE’s second studio album, Scream Aim Fire, was released in early 2008 and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200. The band's third album, Fever, was released in 2010 and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. The band has sold over one million albums in the United States and over 3,000,000 albums worldwide and are the most-successful act in the Kerrang! Awards category of "Best British Band" with three wins.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will release their fourth studio album entitled TEMPER TEMPER on February 12, 2013. The band will be releasing their first official single at the top of 2013.
The metal giants recently headlined the UK’s Radio 1’s Rock Week at the BBC Maida Vale studios where they debuted the title track. The title track received a 5 out of 5 star review by Artist Direct: “With ‘Temper Temper’, Bullet For My Valentine unleash a new metal classic that's simultaneously heavy and hypnotic. This has the makings of being their equivalent of The Black Album and further solidifying them as the genre's 21st century kings. Catch their fire as they explode now…”
The album TEMPER TEMPER was produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park / Pearl Jam) who worked with the band on their previous album, 2010’s Fever, and was recorded in Thailand and Wales. Fever debuted in the Top 10 in the UK (#5), USA (#3), Japan (#1), Australia (#5), Austria (#2), Canada (#4), Germany (#3) and Switzerland (#7).

About the fest: SOFIA ROCKS 2013, presented by Balkan Entertainment, gathers rock fans from all over Bulgaria and the whole region. In 2010 The Big Four made a remarkable show as part of Sofia Rocks. During the years the festival line-up included great bands such as Alice in Chains, Stone Sour, Whitesnake, Guns N Roses, Trivium, Ugly Kid Joe, Kaiser Chiefs, Clawfinger, Manowar, Within Temptation, Rammstein and many more.
